About Beanie Boos
Beanie Boos are Soft toys with big eyes.
The original 7 Beanie Boos first appeared in June 2009 in the UK. Later in 2009 six slightly different versions of the original 7 Beanie Boos were released. In march 2010 2 new sizes of Beanie Boos were released medium and key clip. In January 2012 Ty introduced large Beanie Boos the first four out were Coconut, Waddles, Cookie and Safari and in early 2014 a small number of extra large Beanie Boos were released. Now there are five sizes of Beanie Boos key clip, regular, medium, large and extra large (note not all Beanie Boos come in all sizes).
Beanie Boos originaly came out with non sparkly eyes but changed to sparkly eyes in 2012.
The original 7 UK Beanie Boos were (in order from the picture) Bamboo, Bubblegum, Coconut, Kiwi, Peanut, Slush and Waddles. The second UK releases were (in order from the picture) Bamboo, Bubblegum, Cleo, Coconut, Kiwi, Kooky, Slush and Waddles. The first USA releases were Bamboo, Coconut, Kiwi, Kooky, Slush and Waddles.

Teenie Beanie Boos
On July 4 2014 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of happy meals, McDonald's used 16 Teenie Beanie Boo's based on existing Beanie Boos and their names.
In June 2017 Ty and McDonalds Happy Meals celebrated their 20th anniversary of their partnership together. Instead of creating Teenie Beanie boos based of existing Beanie Boos, the Teenie Beanie Boos were original. Including animals such as a bull, moose, seal, elephant and rhino.
